  • Develop relationships with suppliers to resolve delivery and quality concerns and obtain documents;
  • Update Purchase Orders with current delivery information;
  • Ensures the timely delivery of quality products at the lowest possible cost
  • Conducts a comparative analysis on supplier prices
  • May inspect products received for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Maintains records and follow up files of purchases, shipments, and related matters.
  • Follows up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
  • Responsible for the ordering of materials, supplies, and/or equipment, and the follow through with vendors on shipment and delivery.
  • Verifies that the required order is within the agreed budget
